My name is Steve and on January 21st this year (2019) I met for the first time in almost 57 years my birth mother Cathie. After a week passed getting to know her, her husband Bill and some of this really large family 🙂 Cathie and I discussed and we both felt that we need to write some of this experience down and share it. Its truly a huge event in both our lives and to let it slip by without recording it would be a crime.
We’ve setup this site so that we can share and grow the story here in its own space.
Where this site goes in the future is up to all of us. This isn’t just a story of Cathie and me. Your combined welcoming, caring and loving responses so far have overwhelmed Patty (my wife) and me. This is really a story about all of us. Patty and I are humbled and overjoyed at the prospect and the privilege of becoming part of this family. I hope you all enjoy this site.
